Calculation Inputs

Information entered to calculate pump and hydraulic results.

• Pool or spa dimensions, volume, turnover target, design flow, and water temperature
• Pipe size, pipe length, fittings, valves, equipment pressure, elevation, and voltage selections
• Professional-mode branch schedule values, measured flow, actual speed, and field gauge shortcuts
• Selected pump models, compare-pump choices, custom pump names, and curve points entered by the user

Saved Projects And Files

Information stored or shared only when the user chooses those actions.

• App-private saved projects containing the current pump sizing inputs and selected pump information
• Custom pump library records and reviewed user-entered pump curve points
• Portable project files imported or exported by the user
• PDF reports created temporarily for the system share sheet when the user selects a share action

Subscription Data

Information used to unlock paid workflows.

Pool Pump Pro uses the app-store billing system for the platform where the app is installed. On iOS, subscriptions are handled through Apple StoreKit and the user’s Apple ID. On Android, Google Play Billing may be used and purchase status may be verified through backend services. Pool By Engineer Inc. does not receive full payment-card details from Apple or Google.

Support Communications

If a user contacts Pool By Engineer Inc. for support, we may receive the name, email address, phone number, app issue details, screenshots, project files, or other information the user chooses to send. We use that information to respond to the support request and improve the app.

How We Use Information

Technical calculation and support use.

• To calculate required flow, total dynamic head, pump curve intersections, confidence, and validation checks
• To let users save, load, import, export, and share project information
• To let users build and review custom pump curves before those curves affect recommendations
• To generate project PDFs and comparison PDFs requested by the user
• To check subscription status and unlock paid workflows where applicable
• To respond to support, troubleshooting, account, billing, or deletion requests

How Information Is Shared

Limited sharing with platform services and user-selected destinations.

Pool Pump Pro may rely on Apple, Google, Firebase, or similar platform services for subscription checks, app distribution, backend purchase verification, diagnostics, or security. When a user shares a PDF or project file, the information is sent only to the destination the user selects in the operating system share sheet.

Local Storage

Most app data is stored on the user’s device.

Saved projects, custom pump records, imported project files, and temporary exported PDFs may be stored on the device. Removing the app may remove app-private local records unless the user has exported or shared those files separately.

No Advertising Sale

The app is not designed for ad tracking.

Pool Pump Pro is not intended to sell personal information, build advertising profiles, or show third-party advertising. The app does not need camera, microphone, contacts, health, or precise location access for its pump sizing workflow.

Your Choices

Control over projects, exports, and support data.

• You can edit or delete saved projects and custom pump records inside the app where supported.
• You choose when to import, export, or share project files and PDF reports.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple or Google account subscription settings.
• You can request support or deletion help by contacting Pool By Engineer Inc.

Retention And Security

Records are kept only as needed for app use, support, and platform requirements.

We use reasonable safeguards for information handled by the app and by support channels. Subscription records are also subject to Apple, Google, and payment-platform retention rules. Support emails and submitted files may be retained as needed to resolve requests, document the issue, comply with legal obligations, or improve app quality.
