What The App Handles

Venturi Science Pro is designed to calculate locally on the device.

The app does not create user accounts, sell personal data, show third-party ads, or send calculator inputs to a Pool By Engineer server. Most entered values stay on the device unless the user chooses to share a report through Android.

Calculator Inputs

Pressure, flow, geometry, and field-calibration values.

Inlet pressure, outlet pressure, water flow, venturi geometry, suction tank pressure, suction hose length and size, bypass hardware settings, and measured suction values are processed locally to produce the app's calculations and diagnostics.

Local Profiles

Saved field profiles remain on the device.

If the app stores installation or calibration settings, those records are stored in local app storage. They can be removed by deleting the saved profile inside the app, when available, or by clearing the app's data from Android settings.

Purchases

One-time unlock through Google Play Billing.

Venturi Science Pro uses Google Play Billing for the one-time pro unlock. Google Play handles payment methods, receipts, taxes, refunds, and payment security. The app receives purchase status needed to unlock features, but it does not receive or store credit card numbers, bank details, or full payment credentials.

Sharing

Reports are shared only when the user starts sharing.

The app can prepare a field report and open the Android share sheet. Report sharing is user initiated. The app does not automatically upload field reports to Pool By Engineer Inc.

Network Access

Network use is limited to platform services.

Network-related Android permissions may be present because Google Play Billing and platform services require communication with Google Play. The calculator itself does not need a Pool By Engineer account or cloud sync service.

Children

Professional field-use audience.

Venturi Science Pro is intended for pool-service and engineering professionals. It is not directed to children.

Your Choices

Access, correction, and deletion.

You can edit calculator inputs directly in the app.
You can remove locally saved data by clearing the app's data in Android settings.
You can manage purchase history, refunds, and payment methods through Google Play.
